I can never get enough of the Lake District, or the English countryside in general. My photography is always at its best when I’m surrounded by nature and the Lakes is my biggest inspiration for all my creative endeavours.
I recently returned from another holiday to the national park, my last one before my parents make the big move up to Cumbria, and I couldn’t be happier with the photos that I came back with. The weather wasn’t as great as it has been in the past – although given the time of year it is that was hardly surprising – but in a way that helped me to get some great atmospheric shots of the gloomy countryside.
I haven’t had much of an opportunity to go out with my camera recently so having this holiday was something that I definitely appreciated. With winter just around the corner, I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to get some great festive snaps to showcase to all of you. In the meantime though, enjoy my new photos that are posted below!
