Weekly Pics: 5th – 11th February

The last few weeks have been pretty stressful, to say the least. Between packing boxes, travelling across the country for interviews and making the big move up to Cumbria, I’ve hardly had time to breathe.

Yes, after twenty-two years of having a home in Norfolk, I’ve now become a Northerner! Well, for a couple of weeks anyway, before I move back down South for my new job. It’s strange to think that I’ll no longer have a permanent base in my hometown, but I’m not too upset. The area we’ve moved to is so beautiful and we’re now less than an hour away from the place we’ve holidayed every year since I was born.

I figured what better way to celebrate moving somewhere new than to share some of the photos that were taken over the last week or so. At first I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to take enough photos to justify a whole post, but then the weather decided to go a little crazy and give us a huge heaping of snow. Considering the meagre amount that normally falls in Norfolk,ย  I was certainly caught off guard when I opened my blinds that morning. However, I definitely wasn’t complaining.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to get out properly with my camera and get a good few snapshots, so I was glad of the opportunity this last week. Here’s hoping I’ll have an excuse to go out and take some more again soon. For now, enjoy my mix of gloomy skies and wintry scenes that you can check out below…
